In short
- We keep the minimum needed to give you an account and to store the sessions you choose to save.
- Players' lists and names are not sent to our servers.
- No advertising, no analytics and no selling of data.
- Write to [email protected] to see, correct or delete what we keep about you.
Who is responsible
Kora Nostra is operated by Hector Martinez, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For anything about your data, write to [email protected].
What we keep
- Your account. Your name, your email address and your password. The password is stored encrypted by our sign-in provider and we cannot read it. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google, never your Google password.
- Your place in the platform. The academy you belong to, if any, your username in it, your level and the permissions of your account. If you ask for a level, the level and the number of teams you tell us.
- What you save to the platform. The sessions and exercises you send with “Save to the platform”: names, explanations, coaching points, diagrams, team, microcycle and date.
- Technical records. When you sign in, or when the page talks to our servers, our providers record the date and time, your IP address and your browser. They are used to keep the service secure and to find faults.
- Your messages. The emails you send us and our answers.
What stays on your device
- Session drafts, board diagrams, evaluations, fitness tests and match reports are kept in your browser, on your own device, and in the PDFs you download. They are not sent to our servers.
- Player lists and attendance are never sent with a session you save to the platform. Please do not write players' names in the text of an exercise you save.
- If you clear your browser's data, the drafts kept on that device are deleted.
Cookies and similar
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The platform uses your browser's storage to keep you signed in and to remember your work on that device. The platform pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address in order to deliver them.
What we use it for
- To give you access to the platform and to your academy.
- To show you, and your academy if you belong to one, the sessions saved to the platform.
- To send you service emails: confirming your address, changing your password, and messages about your level and how to pay.
- To answer you and to fix faults.
- To keep the service secure.
We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.
Who can see it
- You.
- Your academy. If your account belongs to an academy, the other accounts of that academy can see the sessions and exercises saved to its library, and its administrator can rename, edit or delete them.
- Us, to run the service and to help you.
- The providers that work for us: Supabase (database and sign-in), Cloudflare (hosting and delivery of the pages) and Google (email, typefaces and, if you choose it, Google sign-in). They act on our instructions.
- The authorities, only when the law requires it.
Where it is stored
The database with accounts and saved sessions is in the European Union (Ireland). The pages are delivered through Cloudflare's worldwide network. Kora Nostra is run from the United Arab Emirates, so your data can be accessed from there to operate and support the service.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and what you saved for as long as your account exists. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete it and the personal data linked to it within 30 days. Sessions you saved into an academy's library stay with that academy unless you or the academy ask us to remove them. Technical records are kept by our providers for a limited time.
Your rights
You can ask us what we keep about you, to correct it, to delete it or to send you a copy, and you can object to how we use it. Write to [email protected] from the email address of your account and we will answer within 30 days. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Kora Nostra is a tool for coaches and academy staff, who are adults. It is not meant for children and we do not knowingly keep children's data: player lists are not stored on our servers.
Security
Connections to the platform are encrypted, passwords are stored encrypted, and the database only lets an account read what belongs to it or to its academy. No system is perfectly secure: if you think someone has used your account, tell us straight away.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes we update this page and the date at the top. If the change is important, we also tell you by email.
